Cate's father is an artist. He works with a variety of materials and usually makes paper crafts and sculptures, and operates an art studio, school and shop in Cate's hometown of Kennebunk, ME. He recently made her a stuffed raccoon for Valentine's Day. Isn't the raccoon cute? (I'm cuter.) Cate named him Venice after the City of Masks.
